Hey Look Mom ... I'm Flying!
so, check it out.
the last time i went flying was before Hannah was born. by my count, that's at least 3 months and 3 weeks.
so today i took my plane up to the model airfield -- which, for those of you who don't know, is up in the hills where we can see it from our back yard -- and fueled up the plane for her first flight in months.
i wasn't sure if it would run right after so long a time sitting in our dusty garage, but what the hell ... why not strap a digital camera to it anyway and see if we can get some cool airborne video. i wasn't too worried about the camera (it was our old one -- a complete P.O.S.), but was maybe a little concerned about what might become of our 1GB memory card if i were to crash.
anyway, i didn't crash. flew pretty well actually. wanna see? check the video:

That was so cool!!!!! Nice going with the camera Ben. I saw Kenny Loggins do that song in person!! Your little air show was almost as good as Top Gun!!

Yeah that is cool - now all ya need to do is get the plane with the TV transmit camera and build yourself an on ground cockpit.
