At Last ... Progress

it's been a few months since we've "finished" the deck out back. since then, i've been doing some serious procrastinating on the finishing touches. namely, the stairs down to the rest of the yard, the step between the two levels, and staining.

this weekend i built the step between the levels, and stained the lower level ... as you can see above.

i plan to finish staining this week, in time for some company we'll have starting thursday. as for the stairs ... maybe i can stall until rich comes out again ;-)
