Welcome to Earth, Little One
there are a lot of stories i could tell and eventually will about kimmy's labor, the birth, our time at the hospital, and her first night at home. for right now, though, we're going on no sleep and pretty much have a stress hangover from last night. all that aside, life has never been more perfect.
before i start posting pictures, i just need to tell you that kimmy is my hero. she is the toughest, most selfless, brave, beautiful woman in the world. i sort of knew that before ... but the last few days have made it hit me like a wall.
so, here are some pictures ...

My first picture.

Wait, you mean we made this?

Unreal.

Settling in.

Asleep at last.

Whoa Nelly! That's a big beautiful girl! (You too Kimmy.) Congraulations. Get Some Rest. Take More Pictures.
what wonderful tears of joy. i couldn't be a happier grandma!

her sleeping picture is adorable. and not just because my handwriting is pretty kick-ass!
could i post some of the pics i took? let me know.
I couldn't be more excited for the two of you and of course selfishly for me as a first time aunt. Ben, you were right on the money in describing Kim's attributes, and I will also add that through the grapevine I hear you are off to a great start in being THE perfect dad! Take great care of all the girls. See you in a few weeks!

oh, and, i second all of that hero stuff. i already knew kimmy was brave (having married you, after all!), but her strength the other night/morning just blew me away.
Congratulations Ben and Kim And!! Hannah.
You thought Golf was tough HA!
The backswing is really critical now, you don't want to leave too big of a welt!!
Having a baby girl will be the most wonderful life changing event that you could never imagine. Enjoy!!!

could this baby girl be any luckier? you two will be perfect parents, as soon as she teaches you a few things, like who's in charge!
i'm thrilled for all of you, the extended 'all'. wish i were there.
much love,
les
I'm dying to know, what does Callie think about Hannah? These pictures are fantastic, I'm hoping for daily updates myself. I love the initials hanging on the wall. She's absolutely precious!
When great people bring children into this world great things happen to the rest of us.
I'm sure that as Hannah grows up (and potentially has sisters), Hannah - and her Sisters - will be as awesome as both of you!
You guys are the best! Congrats!
